Channelling Belinda (mine)
My cousin Belinda is one of those people you'd instantly connect with -- she is funny, warm, sharp and oh so fun. She also makes the most gorgeous jewellery and has a knack for mixing colours and textures in really cool combinations. (see http://www.mybeadz.blogspot.com)
This is my tribute -- albeit a poor one -- to her. I took a looong time with this one! It's hard to get the colours and combinations just right, and Belinda makes it look so easy. Stabilized turquoise squares contrast with ovals of yellow jade. Czech glass beads lighten the look and the front draws interest with three dangles (I'm a dingle dangle gal) of fossil stone and tiny African turquoise beads. The ear-rings replicate the dangles.
