Central Park (S$62/US$37.60)

Central Park is a 843-acre oasis which was originally a muddy, swampy area some 150 years ago. I named this creation after this area of 26,000 trees, 9,000 benches, 125 drinking fountains and 36 bridges because one of my favourite things to do at the Park (I used to travel to NYC quite often years ago) was to watch the dogs at play.

I love dogs and couldn't resist getting a handful of these pendants on the trip. I thought it was cute that Dalmation Jasper was carved into the shape of a dog!

This necklace measures about 36 inches long (minus pendant) and is one continuous loop similar to "Times Square". The dog pendant is about 2 inches long.

Other "ingredients" include Smokey Quartz chips, Dalmation Jasper chips, goldtone pewter beads and small Swarovski pearls. In addition to the pictured style, this necklace can also be worn like a lariat (see 3rd and 4th pics in "Times Square").

* Metaphysical Properties of Jasper: Jasper was another favourite stone of the ancients and it comes in a constellation of varieties! Jasper is said to drive away negativity and give the user courage to be true to oneself in thought, word and deed.
