Greetings From ...

... the Big Apple! New York City is as I remember it to be: fun, a buzzing hive of activity and a place where everyone is a "stranger" and yet not. Well, it won't be fair to say it's exactly the same. Some things have changed: there are more men in uniform around and for the first time ever, I've been stopped on the street by strangers asking for money.

On the left is a pic of Times Square at night. There are people EVERYWHERE, speaking a babel of languages. And the next pic is that of a street fair held today. I bought a Gyro (it's like a wrap and it's delish!) and munched it while taking in the sights, smells and sounds.

Here is the skating rink at Rockerfeller Center. Too bad the famous Christmas tree isn't all decorated yet or I would've taken a pic to show you. On the right of the pic, you can see part of the scaffolding surrounding the tree.

And finally, here is a pic of two bead shops I found. Actually, I found a third just about 15 mins later, but was too lazy to take a pic.

Ok, must go to bed now or be a blithering idiot at the meetings tomorrow.

Take care, everyone!
