Selamat Hari Raya Haji!

I've been reading up and asking Muslim friends and colleagues about the Haj and Eid al-Adha (celebrated on the 10th day of the last month of the Islamic calendar) and hope that I now have a deeper appreciation of this important occasion and the pilgrimage which is one of the five pillars of Islam. For one, I am now even more aware that Hari Raya Haji is *not* the Muslim New Year.
