Lucky Ladybird - NOW 3A GURL'S

For many cultures around the world, the ladybird (or ladybug if you're in the US) has long been a symbol of good luck.

It was considered especially lucky if one landed on you -- as long as you didn't brush it off or kill it. The two-spot ladybird is also the national symbol of Latvia.

I hope this pair of ladybirds brings much luck to their new owner! The ladybird charms -- which have six little golden spots on each wing -- were acquired on my November trip to NY and are of rather exceptional quality (to me at least). I didn't get many of these because they're rather costly.

Linking each ladybird to its 14K gold-filled ear hook are a garnet bead (symbol of love, commitment and positive energy) and a sparkly 14K gold-filled bead. Drop is just about 1 inch.
