Isis - SOLD

Oh what a busy couple of days. It has been mad at work and having to deal with a grumpy boss didn't help matters. Oh well. With days like these, I hope it means that things can only get better 'cos the bottom of the barrel has been scraped. Fingers crossed! Now to nicer things ....

I named this necklace after Isis, the Egyptian goddess of fertility and creation.

She represents love and compassion and the essence of feminine energy: traits which I think are reflected in the warm tones of carnelian and the rounded curves of the lapis lazuli and African turquoise beads and goldtone pewter connectors.

I chose the name also because the combination of lapis lazuli and carnelian are so typical of ancient Egyptian jewellery.

This Y-necklace measures about 17 inches (not including front dangle). Clasp is 14K gold-filled.
