For the Faire - Ming Necklace SOLD

Some of you have asked for a clearer pic of this necklace which will be sold at the Faire, so here it is!

The pendant is probably from a porcelain vase or other object and conjures up images of the delicate blue and white pottery which China's Ming dynasty was known for.

This is a double-strand creation. The inner strand (about 18 inches long, clasp included) is made with deep blue lapis lazuli chips, a pewter focal bead and Czech glass beads.

The outer strand (about 20 inches long, clasp included) is made with nuggets of dumortierite, 925 silver beads, rhodium bead caps and Swarovski "pearls".

Toggle clasp is white gold plated. This piece has not been priced yet as I am thinking of making a pair of matching ear-rings and offering the combo as a set.

Lapis Lazuli is said to be the stone of friendship while Dumortierite is considered the stone of order, creativity and courage.

PS. Thanks to Cheryl who was the inspiration for the name of this creation.

Update: This necklace is sold, but its variant, Ming 2 is still available at the Faire!
