Nile Dreams - SOLD

I have a thing about Ancient Egypt.

Perhaps it was the stories I read as a child or maybe it was that funky programme on tv I watched avidly as an impressionable six-year-old ... you know, the one where the heroine clasped a pendant and said "Almighty Isis" and became an Isis superhero of sorts ... hahahha!

Anyways, here is another piece inspired by the ancient kingdom of the pyramids.

Fat pillows of red agate are linked to each other by turquoise and lapis drops accented by hand-worked wirework scrolls. The scrolls are said to be based on an Ancient Egyptian design and those on this necklace are made from 14K gold-filled wire & should not tarnish.

Also used in this creation are goldtone pewter daisy spacers and gold-plated tubes. S-hook clasp is 14K gold-filled. Necklace length is about 18 inches. Do let me know if you'd like a pic of this necklace around a real person's neck :)
