Pretty Flowers

Everything's coming up roses!

This necklace was made by a dear friend who also has magic fingers with wires. He said I could take a pic of his creation and post it here -- thank you! I think this was made quite a while ago, but I didn't see it till Sunday .... where were you hiding it, M?! :-))

I adore roses and when I was getting married almost nine years ago, went cuckoo-mad and insisted on having roses everywhere ... hahahaha!

Roses decorated the church pews (made the decorations myself with help from the sweetie and my sister), they adorned my dress, the veil, my SHOES, the bouquet, the car, the church and hotel reception and the bridesmaids' chokers as well. Ahhhhh, what lovely memories of that insane yet gloriously happy new beginning!

With the anniversary coming up, I *may* create a few pieces with roses, so watch this space.

I agree, scubscub. I too wonder where artists get their inspiration and how they can create something so beautiful almost effortlessly.

As for learning, we never stop learning, thank goodness :))
