New Project ...
In the always-continuing quest to acquire new skills, I've embarked on a fresh project!
When I signed up for the class, Ms Naive here thought that the project could be completed in a matter of hours even though the teacher said it would take at least six solid hours or more.
Of course I didn't believe her, and three hours and barely an inch later, Ms Foolish remembered that students would do well to listen to their teachers :)) Here are a couple of pics ....

Stay tuned for the continuing saga :) The next class is on Sunday, so hopefully by this time next week, there could be something completed to show you. I HOPE!!

Thanks, scubscub! Can't wait to finish this project too .. hahahahaha! It's not difficult, but very, very time-consuming. Words of encouragement from BlingFriends like yourself, mamimoo, suzie wong, 3a gurl and others really help :))
Suzie Wong ~ Though it just looks like a bunch of flowers and leaves now, the end result is supposed to be a necklace :) What I'm learning is some sort of weaving technique, which is quite different from what I usually do. It's almost like embroidery, but without needles.
3a gurl ~ Thanks sooo much :)) I have to keep your words in mind when I get frustrated with this project! Now I know why finished pieces like this are priced in the hundreds. It looks deceptively simple (kinda like how good shimmies look deceptively simple to execute).
