More Seed Bead Adventures - Cabochons (Reserved)
I hope this piece makes teacher Nancy proud :)
After wrecking the first cabochon (turquoise) in class, I decided to practise at home. Thank goodness this attempt succeeded!
Instead of using a stone, I decided to give the cameo new life as, frankly, I wasn't too happy with its previous backing.
So now it has a new "cloak" of seed beads and pearls, a flourish of dangles and a posh new back of midnight blue suede.... hahaha!
The only question now is what the necklace bit should look like :)

so beautiful, dahling
Thanks, 3a gurl :)) Glad you think so ... hahahha!
hi!
it's wonderful... you should show a "before" and "after" picture... I guess the necklace should be very discreet in black so that this one won't lose it's greatness. And again, good work, greetings, manela
Gorgeous!!
Thank you, Manela! I'll keep the "before" and "after" thing in mind :) And thanks for your suggestion for keeping the necklace part simple ... makes a lot of sense.
Thank you too, Chev dear!!
