Wedding Belles - Work in Progress (Commission)
Last Saturday was also the wedding day of a dear friend of ours (actually, the sweetie and him were classmates back in the stone age). At last he found the love of his life and I am so happy that he is happy :)
Seeing the expression on his face as he first caught sight of his bride walking down the aisle and listening to his heart-felt recitation of the vows made this sentimental sap go all misty-eyed.
Sorry, no pics as I have this wonderful knack of leaving the digicam at home and my phone has no camera -- it's one of those things which actually just does phone-like things such as receive and make calls and SMS's :)
But I digress!
Pictured above is a pair of pendants which will become part of necklaces specially commissioned by a dear, patient BlingFriend for her buddy who is getting married soon.
Seed beads and pearls frame two vintage German cameos and I plan to continue the old-fashioned feel in the necklace portions which I hope to complete by tomorrow -- I've kept this BlingFriend waiting LONG enough. TOO LONG. Sorry, C!
And you were right about doing the beading instead of using the usual metal backing, C ... good call!

Heehee, you have done such a great work on your cabochons that it makes it a breeze to choose which ones to use;P
