... Do come dressed comfortably and bring lots of cash -- there are many tempting buys and Visa is not accepted at the majority of tables (including mine, unfortunately).

... If you drive, park at Orchard Towers -- the parking charges are horrendous at Orchard Hotel ($4.50 for the first hour if I'm not mistaken).
