Jungfrau Joch (To be priced)

The Swiss Blue Topaz is in!!!! Got my greedy paws on a few briolettes and whipped up this pair of ear-rings last night.

Swiss Blue Topaz is relatively difficult to find because the process to get them that shade of brilliant blue takes a while. So they cost more than the usual Blue Topaz, which already costs quite a bit. This pair of ear-rings, for example, would set you back about S$120+ or so.

Inspiration
This creation is named after a mountain in Switzerland which the sweetie and I visited on a holiday there about six years ago. Going up the mountain was the first thing we did in the country.

We were so poor, instead of eating at the cafe, we found a little pavilion outdoors and munched on a snack pack which SQ had provided during the flight and which we had not eaten on the plane ... hahaha! It was a lovely experience and we actually saw a mountain goat while eating our apples and lamenting our relative poverty.

Glitterati
Speaking of relative poverty, I'm headed down debtsville soon!

In the past month, I've been on a gemstone shopping spree. In addition to Swiss Blue Topaz, the little treasure chest at home also contains London Blue Topaz, Emeralds, Cognac Topaz, Pink and Green Amethyst and a host of other sparklies.

While I will still create my usual stuff, I will also be introducing more items with gem-quality stones. Prices will still be kept sensible, but will reflect the quality of the materials.

If you have specific gemstones in mind, do let me know.
