Veramente! - SOLD

"Veramente!" is the Italian equivalent of "Really!", "You're kidding!" or "Truly!" It also describes how I felt when we first found out that we had a little one on board -- sheer and utter joyous disbelief :)

So this creation harks back to that moment when the home pregnancy test told us what it did.

The two coin pearls of each side represent the "positive" and "negative" readings of such tests.

And since they're round, they also represent the circle of life. Pearls are a symbol of love and happiness too!

Right at the bottom of each side is a of lead-free pewter dangle in the shape of an Ancient Egyptian lotus. To them, the lotus was a symbol of rebirth. (or the "tree of life"). Apt for this creation, eh?
