Mermaid's Treasure Chest (S$30/US$18.20)

Bling-mix: Dyed Freshwater Pearls
Bling "hardware": All gold accents (ear wire, circles, wirework) are 14K gold-filled
Dimensions: 7 cm or 2 3/4 inches long

Does anyone else find it funny that e-tickets are still PRINTED out? I thought the point of going "e" is so that there would be no need for paper tickets :)) Anyway, my e-tickets have been printed (by the travel agent, not me) and the passport is ready ... now all I need to do is PACK!!!!

I'll be off for a few days (business trip) and so probably won't update Blingalicious till the end of next week. I'll still check e-mail though, so do drop me a line if you want :))

Mermaid's Treasure Chest is based on Belinda's "Office Affairs" [ sorry for being such a copycat, Belinda! I tried to put my own little spin on it and acknowledged the source of inspiration :)) ].

I used dyed freshwater pearls and added small golden circles to make it a little different.

Though simple, this can be quite an attention-grabbing piece due to the sheer length of the ear-rings.

It would look best with short hair or with your hair swept up to show off all 7cm of these ear-rings.

You'll also notice that each side is not perfectly matchy-matchy colour-wise, just to add that additional dash of the unexpected.

So if you like your drama under-stated, this could be the piece for you :)

All wirework, circles and ear hooks are 14K gold-filled.

PS. The larger pic represents the colours most accurately.

:D

Oooooh, I've been dreaming, dreaming about those precious sparklies too and making up 1,001 justifications on why the bank account should get a workout!

See you when I get back :))
