Momma's Love - NOT FOR SALE
Bling-mix: Faceted rondelles of Rose Quartz and Rhodolite Garnet
Bling "hardware": Made entirely of 925 silver wire, chain (not shown) is 925 silver
Dimensions: Pendant is a little over 5cm long; chain is 16 inches long
UPDATE: OK, call me sappy ... I can't bear to part with this now :)) Sorry! Me bad!! I want to keep it to show the Little One and tell him/her the story about its inpiration. And if Little One is a her she can then keep it when she is older.
This is a very special piece because it was inspired by the first kick the Little One gave his/her momma recently, which woke me at about 3am! Since then, off and on, I've felt little tickles and soft pokes .... exciting!!
I then wound more 925 silver around the frame and accented it with faceted rondelles of pale pink rose quartz (the love stone) and pinky-red rhodolite garnet.
Tiny dangles of rhodolite garnet briolettes hang off the swirls which represent the hearts of the momma and the baby, beating side by side.
This pendant comes with a fine 925 silver chain (not shown) which is 16 inches long.

Thanks, Izel! This weekend I am travelling, but I will check your blog for more details on where you are showing and will pop by one of these days :)
Very nice artwork and interpretation. Or rather fleshing it out from the abstract. God knows how much difficulty I'll have doing that. All the best to you and your baby!
Awwww, you're so sweet, Dawne. Thanks! The Little One is helping momma I think :)
This piece took me three days of sitting in front of the TV (that's when I chill out and bead, usually after work) to complete, from concept to actual execution. The hardest part was making the wires behave :D
No worries, we will definitely have a chance to meet up someday. :)
