Bling "hardware": Fairy is silver-plated over lead-free pewter; All other silver bits are 925 silver

Fairy tales are perfect -- they always end on a high note with "...and they lived happily ever after".

And that's the way it should be too! Hahahahhaha! Reality is harsh enough as it is, so thank goodness for feel-good fantasy :D

This is actually the silver version of "Once Upon A Time" but I thought to give it a different name altogether to continue the fairy tale theme.

Here, the love fairy sprinkles a "blessing" of positive vibes and all things good, represented by accents of rainbow moonstone (briolettes and beads), iolite, labradorite, a random little rhodolite garnet rondell and one blue sapphire rondell for luck.

The fairy measures about 6cm and is silver-plated over lead-free pewter.

All other silver bits are 925 silver, including the necklace portion (16 inches) which is also studded all along at intervals with iolite and moonstone.

Lobster clasp (not shown) is 925 silver as well.

Once Upon a Time - SOLD

Bling-mix: Dingle-dangles are moonstone, citrine, garnet, peridot & a little sapphire
Bling "hardware": Pendant is gold plated over pewter. All other bits are 14K gold-filled.
Dimensions: Necklace measures about 16 inches; pendant is about 6 cm long

Do you believe in fairies?

I'm not so sure that I do. But then again, when I was about four or five years old, I'm quite certain I saw some little folk one evening in East Malaysia.

They were about 5 inches tall, wore colourful clothes and spoke in high-pitched voices ... and they didn't disappear when I blinked several times, and they didn't seem to mind a curious child looking at them. So who knows!

Maybe that childhood experience explains my lifelong fascination with fairies :)

Here is a Love Fairy (gold-plated over lead-free pewter) who is scattering some love blessings, represented by little gemstones of moonstone, peridot, pink garnet, citrine and one baby sapphire rondell.

The necklace portion (14K gold-fill) is also accented by moonstones and pink garnets. The pendant is a little over 6cm in length and the necklace is currently 16 inches & can be adjusted slightly to suit your needs.

Apart from the fairy which is gold-plated over lead-free pewter, all other gold bits are 14K gold-filled.

Look out for a silver version of this creation which will be posted later.

When You Wish Upon a Star - SOLD

Bling-mix: Aquamarine, Turquoise

Bling "hardware": Silver-plated over pewter fairy charm, rhodium plated circles, 925 silver chains

This is not a new piece, but one which has been hiding for a while. Fairy is ready to find a new home now and grant some wishes.
The fairy pendant from the US is silver plated over pewter.
She sprinkles a lucky scattering of aquamarine rondells with the odd turquoise bead mixed in. If you like, I could also add a small dash of moonstone beads.
According to legend, aquamarine was first found in the treasure chests of mermaids!
Circles are rhodium plated and chains are 925 silver.
