First Crush Silver - SOLD

Bling-mix: Dangles of Moonstone and Labradorite Rondelles
Bling "hardware": 925 silver heart, pendant holder & clasp; Leather necklace
Dimensions: Pendant is about 5cm long; you choose the necklace length

Here is the silver version of "First Crush" (cue music to the Donny & Marie show ... hahaha! Purple socks, anyone?)

Instead of a pink opal heart, this necklace features a 925 brushed silver beauty.

Dangling off the heart are little rainbow moonstones and labradorite rondelles.

Depending on the light, you can sometimes see tiny flashes of blue running through the labradorite.

Other than the dangles, the rest of the piece is neat and simple.

Instead of the usual chain, the pendant comes with a navy blue leather cord (you choose the ultimate length), finished with 925 silver ends and clasp.

Pendant measures about 5cm long. All silver bits are 925 silver.

Now everybody sing along ... "And they call it puppy looove ..." :)

For D - NOT FOR SALE

Bling-mix: moonstone, labradorite
Bling "hardware": 925 silver wire
Dimensions: 4cm or about 1 1/2 inches long

D has a remarkable ability to make anybody laugh & when we were working together, it was always a joy. She has a can-do attitude that is simply uplifting and I've missed her so.

But we're meeting again next week ... WOO HOOO! So I created this pendant for her.

This pendant is a reflection of the sweet, giving side of her sparkling personality and features the same wire-wrapping I'm currently obsessed with :) in 925 silver.

The centrepiece is a suspended coin pearl and the frame has accents of moonstone and labradorite.

Hope she likes it!

PS. This design is an adaptation of a pair of ear-rings featured in issue #9 of Bead Unique magazine.

The pre-Christmas blue-blood theme continues into the final days of 2006 with this posh concoction.

Freshwater pearl "coins" are the focal point of the ear-rings. The accents are faceted rondelles of black onyx and labradorite.

Ear posts and headpins are 925 silver.

Good Fortune (S$68/US$40)

I'm baaaaack! Bangalore was good -- the weather was marvellous (22 deg C) and the hotel was elegantly opulent ... pity that the hectic meeting schedule meant there was no time to experience the city. Never mind -- next time.

Blingalicious production is back on track as there are a couple more Faires coming up. The first one is next Tuesday/Wednesday (14th/15th Nov) at Orchard Hotel. The next one is in early December. Check back here for more details coming up soon.

Here is a piece which will go to the Faire unless it finds a new owner soon :)

The centrepiece is a Chinese "coin" which Fengshui practitioners use to represent good fortune.

Picking up the green tones of the "coin" are kiwi jasper while shimmering labradorite beads (which represent the water element) quietly echo the silvery tones.

Necklace measures about 18 inches (without pendant).
