Blue Belles (S$30/US$18.20)

This pair of ear-rings reminds me of a pair of dancing ladies in fancy dresses with blue ruffles :-) Ah, the imagination is running a little wild today ... hahaha!

Beads of Lapis Lazuli and Tibetan Turquoise hang off a 925 sterling silver filigree frame. Silver tends to tarnish over time, so you'll need to give these a buff once in a while to keep them looking new. Ear hook is 925 silver as well (hooks may be changed to posts if you prefer).

* Metaphysical properties of Lapis Lazuli: This symbol of truth and friendship was one of the earliest gemstones ever to be worn as jewellery. The ancient Greeks, Romans, Mesopotamians and Egyptians all valued this gemstone, and some considered it a holy stone. Today, some people believe that Lapis Lazuli brings harmony into relationships and is said to be a mental and spiritual "cleanser" as well.

* Metaphysical properties of Turquoise: This symbol of wholeness is believed to open all the chakras, allowing love, communication and completeness to flow through the body. Turquoise is also said to help detoxify the body and strengthen the immune system. Because it's associated with the throat chakra, Turquoise is said to help improve speech. Some believe that it helps develop intuition too.
