Hongbao - SOLD

Bling-mix: red garnets, Swarovski crystals, wirework in non-tarnish goldtone wire, 14K gold-filled ear hooks and jump rings, goldtone lead-free pewter connector.

I remember the first time, almost nine years ago, when my sweetie and I had to hand out hongbao during Chinese New Year. What a thrill it was ... truly!

In that first honeymoon year, anything that marked us as "married" was a thrill, from using the word "my husband" or "my wife" in a sentence to well yes, handing out these little red packets filled with money at CNY.

But I digress! This creation features dark red garnets (red=hong=hongbao), hand-worked flowers and Swarovski crystals. The bar-like connector at the top is lead-free pewter from the US. Ear hooks are 14K gold-filled.

Drop is about 2 inches.

** Note: Ear hooks are cleaned and disinfected before ear-rings are shipped.

Metaphysical properties of garnet: Red garnet represents love and commitment. It's also said to be an energizing stone which dispels negativity.
