Reunion Dinner

Gong Xi Fa Cai - Happy Year of the Dog! (Click here for more info on Chinese New Year from Wikipedia). Muskie hasn't fully realised yet that this is his year and is wondering why his doggy-mommy has been taking so many photos of him.

Annnyways, last night we had the traditional reunion dinner with my sweetie's family. We went to Silk Road at Amara Hotel and had a blast. The food was excellent, the service attentive ... though I felt so bad for the service staff who were away from their families to ensure that we could enjoy this special dinner with our families ... and there was such a happy, festive atmosphere.

Kei was pleased with her sparkling Hello Kitty pendant. It is becoming quite evident that she and her Aunty Simone have a shared love for all things glittery -- we even compared the blings on our shoes last night!! Hahahahaha!

She was also wearing a jacket I had sewn for her a while ago :-)

And here is Kei's brother, Anh, and my sweetie, playing the food-as-aeroplane-flying-into-the-mouth game. So cute!
