Lucky Ladybird Necklace - SOLD

Some time ago, a pair of Lucky Ladybird ear-rings were created and the idea for a matching necklace had been buzzing around in my head for a while ... so now, finally, here it is.

Ladybirds are symbols of luck and here, you have a double dose!

The ladybird charms are of extremely high quality and were acquired on my trip to NY last November.

The luck symbolism continues with the liberal splashes of red coral. To the Chinese, red is considered a good luck colour. Coral is said to bring harmony too.

According to some literature, the Chinese also believe that wearing gold brings good luck, and in this classy, airy creation, good fortune emanates from the fine 14K gold-filled chain, gold-filled wires and gold-plated toggle clasp :-))

Necklace currently measures 15 1/2 inches (minus dangle) but can be adjusted up to 18 inches.

Metaphysical properties of Coral: Coral is said to be a stress-buster and is also believed to bring calm to the user. Some people believe that coral helps restore harmony too.
