Dum-Tak - SOLD

Hurrah -- the Ramzy's are in town! Hossam Ramzy is a famous percussionist and his beautiful wife Serena, is a famous bellydancer. And tonight, there will be a concert and I WILL BE THERE!!

Unfortunately, I'm not attending the workshops this time around, but still remember the fun time had at the last one. Hossam and Serena opened our eyes to VISUALLY hearing the music.

Anyways, here is a creation that celebrates tonight's concert. The swirls and curves on the pewter ear-ring frame remind me of Serena's graceful, lush movements. The drops of smokey quartz and turquoise gently rustle when one moves, reminding me of the rhythms of Middle Eastern Dance.

"Dum Tak" (pronounced "doom-tuck") are words which represent the beats (3aGurl, MED Guru, please correct me if I'm wrong).

Ear posts (studs) are 14K gold-filled.
