Jive Talkin' @ The Pump Room

WOO HOOO! What a BLAST!!

Wish I had pics to show you about the FABULOUS night we had yesterday. Went to The Pump Room (http://www.pumproomasia.com/) at Clarke Quay for dinner with good friend J. J is the wife of the GM, who is also a dear friend of the sweetie (they've known each other since Primary 1).

We had an entree of mussels, deliciously juicy steak for mains and an "orgasmic" (owner's words, and I agree with him) dessert of Pavlova. The Pavlova was something else -- it was an explosion of tangy and sweet flavours and went down soooooo easily.

Then, at 11pm, the band came on and the PAR-TAY began. Jive Talkin' (remember them from Hard Rock?) ROCKED the house as expected!!!!! The crowd -- mainly professional types who still have the PARTY GROOVE -- had a blast. There was dancing on bartops too :)

Apart from reconnecting with old friends, a highlight of the evening was definitely getting to know the divalicious Ms J of Jive Talkin'. We found out that we have a shared passion for jewellery-making and all things sparkley :)) I *heart* her!

Jive Talkin' is on every night from Tue - Sun.

Update: Forgot to mention that The Pump Room is a 100% smoke-free zone! No more stinky hair and clothes after a night of partying!
